I love it when a prospective buyer discovers Palos Verdes for the
first time. Honestly, many of them actually gush about the views and
the open spaces that give the area a touch of country even though it is
located in one of the most populous counties in the United States. Yes,
I know you pay for the location but there are many other areas in Los
Angeles County with higher price tags--Malibu and Manhattan Beach spring
to mind.
This weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with an out-of-the-area buyer seeing PV for the first time, and also spending time alone while walking my beloved hills and trails along Palos Verdes Drive South. My eyes have feasted on the same, but always changing views, for years. My nose has enjoyed the smell of ocean air and the rhythmic sounds of the ocean is the only tranquilizer I've ever needed. The crows voice their objection as I approach and force them to momentarily abandon their ocean view perch--they soon return, as I always do.
Yes, I still marvel at the beauty nature provides for both residents and visitors on the Palos Verdes Peninsula located along one of Southern California's most scenic coastlines.
